This year’s RE is focused on the concept of renewal. Neighborhood Partnerships and our community of partners and advocates work hard every single year—going on 20 plus years—to build towards a more equitable and just Oregon. However, this year we are taking the opportunity to pause, step back, and look at our collective work from a new perspective: What new, exciting work is being done in Oregon in the grasstop and grassroots level? How are we keeping ourselves accountable to the mission of a more just and equitable Oregon? What steps are we taking to make sure that we as advocates, organizers, and administrators don’t burn out and instead stay committed with renewed energy and vision?  These are just some of the questions that we will tackle at this year’s RE.

Propose your session for Oct. 15 and let us know how you want to be part of this year’s RE:Conference! Deadline to submit is May 31, 2024.

These are just some of the questions and considerations that reviewers will be keeping in mind:

  1. Does this session feel inclusive to those who are experiencing homelessness, poverty, or marginalization?

  2. What group of people from our programs will this session benefit most? Examples: IDA Savers, affordable housing residents, legislative advocates?

  3. Does this session explicitly address economic or housing justice? Does this session’s content offer insights, approaches, and/or solutions to advance racial and ethnic economic equity?
